Director of Bands

Josh Wisswell

Josh Wisswell is the current director of bands and percussion at Cheney High School. Josh is a 2009 graduate of Cheney High School where he then went on to Eastern Washington University where he graduated with degrees in Music Education and Trumpet Performance in 2014. The first four years of his career were spent at Westwood Middle School before moving up to Cheney High School in 2018. Since then he has been teaching at Cheney High School. Josh recently finished his Masters in Music Technology degree with an emphasis in performance technology through Southern Utah University in April 2024.
